"In the eye of the beholder"
"The way in which we view the world very much determines how we will treat it"
Gregory Cajete, 2004

Like the bee to the rose,
we are all in relation.
But what is that relationship?
How are we expressing it?
More importantly, at this time of ecological
crossroads, how do we want to express it?
We are all seeking a deeper meaning
to our lives.
Often in these times,
confusing messages abound.
Sources of information
that are available, are not in
relation to our hearts. Or we
simply have not listened to our
hearts for some time.
As we sit within the natural world, embarking on a journey of discovery, let us offer these words:
Great Spirit, we thank you for this day, for this life and for the wonders of the natural world.
Great Spirit of the East, where the sun rises and the wind blows, Spirit that is free to fly,
please grant us clarity of mind ... that nothing will blind us to knowing our true connection
with the natural world. And on that journey may we continue to be open with ourselves and
others.
Great Spirit of the South, the home of energy and fire, Spirit that is warm and life giving,
please grant us access to our hearts in a good way, that we may understand our true relations.
And on that journey may we continue to be gentle with ourselves and others.
Great Spirit of the West, where the sun goes down and the waters run, Spirit that washes
away sickness to heal, please grant us a sense of community, grant us the ability to recognize the resources and relations that play a role in our connection with the natural world. And on that journey may we continue to be loving with ourselves and others.
Great Spirit of the North, where the darkness offers its' blanket, Spirit where the damp cold of the Earth quiets until Spring brings forth new life, grant us strength and humility to act in harmony with the natural world. And on that journey may we continue to manifest good relations with ourselves and others.

It is true, humans are organic beings. As organic beings,
we are part of the Natural World. We are in relation to
the Natural World. It is time to come together and
understand that relationship. For our own healing and
the healing of all the Natural World.
Circle Works has adopted an ecological commitment to understanding and enacting our
common relationships as organic citizens in all of our services. We will work with an
individual, organization, or business in achieving your visions and goals while
striving to understand, develop and maintain ecological integrity.
